Here to make cool shit.

Bateekh is the Arabic word for watermelon, and the name of this Palestinian owned production company with a thirst for creative authenticity in storytelling through film.

Our first project.

Yerham means “to have mercy on” in Arabic.

It’s the name of the upcoming short film which follows Khitam as she returns back home to Kansas City to mourn with her family for the first time since tragically losing her brother.

This shit is expensive…

Filmmaking can take a village and it’s no secret the mounting costs that come with the process from preproduction to production to post production.

We’re on a quest to get around 750 people to each donate $75 to this project. Every cent will be pumped back into local Kansas City creatives, locations, and vendors.

Costs include:

Crew Labor

Talent

Production Insurance

Grip & Electric Gear (Lighting)

Camera Package

Sound Gear

Production Supplies

Location Fees

Harddrives

Art Department

Catering

Wardrobe

Sound Design

Editing

Studio Costs

Music Licensing

If 750 people donate $75 each, we can make this film
